This building is designed with an interpretation of architecture parlante expressed through the tectonics of the building. The spiral shaped truss gesture hangs high over the plaza and gives the feeling of a massive cliff which can be climbed hand over hand. This creates a tectonic mountain in that the building is something that offers itself to be climbed and conquered in the same way as a mountain is climbed. This idea is continued on the inside by creating a volume inside of the building shell which plays with scale and mimics a real boulder.
